2. What information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Your name and contact details, including email address and telephone number.

  • Date of birth or age.

  • Information you provide when enquiring about, purchasing or participating in our courses, programmes or coaching services.

  • Information about your mood, energy, focus, recovery, fulfilment and support network.

  • Questionnaire scores and personalised reports generated from the information you provide.

  • Payment and transaction information where applicable.

  • Correspondence between you and Inochi Longevity.

  • Website usage and analytics information, subject to your cookie choices.

Some of the information you provide through our health and lifestyle assessments may constitute special-category health data under UK data protection law. This information receives additional protection and is only processed where we have a lawful basis and an appropriate special-category condition. Where appropriate, we rely on your explicit consent to process this health-related information for the purposes explained in this policy.

3. Why we collect and use your information

We may use your personal information to:

  • Provide courses, coaching, assessments and other services you have requested or purchased.

  • Create your personalised Precision Longevity Report.

  • Analyse your health and lifestyle questionnaire responses.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Health and special-category information

Our Health & Lifestyle Intake Questionnaire and other assessments may ask you to provide health-related information.

This can include information about symptoms, medical history, sleep, mood, energy, cognition, medication, supplements, lifestyle habits and other factors relevant to health and wellbeing.

Under UK data protection law, health data is classed as special-category personal data and receives additional protection.

Where we rely on explicit consent to process your health data, you can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting:

darren@inochilongevity.com

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn. If you withdraw consent while we are preparing or delivering a personalised report, course or coaching service that requires your health information, we may be unable to continue providing some or all of that service.

5. How your Precision Longevity Report is created

Where you complete the Inochi Health & Lifestyle Intake Questionnaire, the information you provide may be used to generate a personalised Precision Longevity Report.

Your questionnaire responses are used to:

  • assess your current health and lifestyle patterns;

  • calculate relevant overall assessment scores;

  • identify areas of strength and opportunity;

  • select personalised lifestyle priorities;

  • create lifestyle recommendations and protocols; and

  • generate a personalised longevity plan.

Your report is designed for lifestyle coaching and educational purposes. It is not a medical diagnosis, medical treatment plan, prescription or substitute for care from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.

6. Use of artificial intelligence and automated technology

Inochi Longevity may use artificial intelligence and automated technology to assist in analysing questionnaire responses and generating personalised report content.

The intended report-generation process may use:

  • Google Workspace to collect and securely store questionnaire responses.

  • An automation service to transfer information between approved systems.

  • OpenAI API to assist in analysing questionnaire information and generating personalised report content.

  • A PDF or document-generation provider to create the finished report.

The AI system supports the creation of the report but does not make medical diagnoses or treatment decisions.

We do not use this process to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

OpenAI states that data submitted through its API platform is not used to train or improve its models by default unless the customer explicitly opts in.

7. Our lawful bases for processing

Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal information.

Depending on the purpose, we may rely on:

Contract: where processing is necessary to provide a course, report, coaching programme or other service you have requested or purchased.

Steps before entering into a contract: where you ask us to take action before purchasing or entering into an agreement.

Legitimate interests: where we have a legitimate business reason to process information, provided those interests do not override your rights and freedoms. This may include service administration, security, responding to enquiries and improving our services.

Consent: where you have freely given permission for a particular use of your information.

Where we process special-category health data, we also require a separate condition under Article 9 of the UK GDPR. Where appropriate for our assessments and personalised report process, we rely on your explicit consent.

8. The organisations and service providers we use

We use carefully selected third-party service providers to help us operate our business, deliver courses and coaching, collect information, generate reports and communicate with clients.

These may include:

  • Google Workspace, including Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Drive and Gmail.

  • Course and membership platforms used to provide course content and community access.

  • Payment processors.

  • Email and communication providers.

  • Automation providers used to transfer data securely between approved systems.

  • OpenAI API, where used to assist with personalised report generation.

  • PDF or document-generation providers.

  • Website analytics and hosting services.

We only share information where necessary for the relevant purpose and expect service providers processing personal information on our behalf to protect it appropriately.

9. International data transfers

Some technology providers we use may process personal information outside the United Kingdom.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to ensure an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or safeguard applies. This may include:

  • UK adequacy regulations;

  • the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the receiving organisation is appropriately certified;

  • the UK International Data Transfer Agreement;

  • the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses; or

  • another legally recognised safeguard.

The current UK-US data bridge permits certain transfers to US organisations certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

10. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account the nature of the information, the service being provided and any relevant legal obligations.

For personalised health and lifestyle assessments and Precision Longevity Reports, our proposed retention period is:

Health and lifestyle questionnaire responses and personalised reports: retained for the duration of your course or coaching service and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you request earlier deletion or we have a legal reason to retain particular information for longer.

Temporary files created solely to transfer or process questionnaire information should be deleted when no longer required for the report-generation process.

Financial and transaction records may be retained for longer where required for accounting, tax or legal purposes.

We regularly review the information we hold and should not keep personal information for longer than necessary. The ICO's storage-limitation principle requires organisations not to keep personal information indefinitely without justification.

11. How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information.

These may include:

  • Using business accounts rather than shared personal accounts where appropriate.

  • Restricting access to health and lifestyle information to people who genuinely need it.

  • Password protection and two-factor authentication where available.

  • Controlled access to files, folders and systems.

  • Limiting unnecessary downloads or copies of health information.

  • Using trusted service providers.

  • Deleting temporary data where it is no longer required.

  • Reviewing access and security arrangements periodically.

No method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take proportionate steps to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

12. Marketing communications

We may send you information about Inochi Longevity courses, coaching, resources, events or services where we have an appropriate lawful basis to do so.

Where consent is required, we will ask for it separately.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us.

Your decision about marketing does not affect your ability to receive a purchased course, report or coaching service.

13. Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics technology to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its performance.

Where required, non-essential cookies should only be used in accordance with your cookie preferences.

Details of the cookies and analytics services used should be provided through our website's cookie notice or cookie-management system.

14. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including:

  • The right to be informed about how your personal information is used.

  • The right to request access to your personal information.

  • The right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • The right to request deletion of your information in certain circumstances.

  • The right to request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.

  • The right to object to certain uses of your information.

  • The right to data portability in certain circumstances.

  • The right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

The ICO requires privacy information to clearly explain people's rights, including the right to withdraw consent where applicable.

To exercise your rights, contact:

darren@inochilongevity.com

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

15. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so we have the opportunity to address them.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's independent data protection regulator.

16. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, legal requirements or how we process personal information.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
